Prosh

I seem to forget it’s coming every year.

A normal work day I leave the house

What are those mad people doing in the city..

Ahh, it must be Prosh day!

For those who are unfortunate not to live in the world’s most isolated capital city, and I know how you all want to live here, Prosh is the day when the students from UWA dress up in fancy dress selling a satirical paper to raise money for charity. This year’s money will be going to the Association for the Blind of WA, Camp Quality, The Dyslexia-Speld Foundation and the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia.

The humor in Prosh is often controversial, definitely toilet humor and a good excuse for high school students to have a smirk over seeing the “c” word in print. As a result the disclaimer on page two recommends that if you are offended by the paper, just don’t read it and remember that your gold coin donation is going to charity.
