Photo Friday for this week is Foreign. Hmm. This is the World Wide Web, the Photo Friday Site is viewed and contributed to by people from around the world. One man’s foreign is another’s local and if you look at it like that, this weeks subject is a little harder than what it first appears.
As a protest, I contemplated taking a photograph of an American flag as my submission for this weeks assignment, but then I figured no one else would understand what I was trying to say.
That’s not to say there weren’t some really good examples of the subject out there, usually involving a contrast in cultures. I think this is a fantastic example, as opposed to mine, which is a little bit naff.
Speaking of Photo Friday, I never actually did last weeks challenge. My weekend was consumed with me recovering from my own stupidity, followed by a busy work week which included the rebuilding of the Leather Emporium site. So to compensate, I’ve done it now.
Today was the my work’s annual Christmas lunch. It’s not often they pay for us to eat, drink OR be merry, so we make the most of it.
Amanda and Jamie met up with Emily and me at Whiteman Park and I honestly cant think of a better excuse for posting more photo’s.
